LINGCOD AND SEA BASS REPORT
We are four days into our lingcod opener. Today is our first day of good water conditions. We have had some anglers out here in Neah Bay, they have been doing well catching their sea bass and lings. Most people have been limiting out. Boats are staying close to Waddah Island, Sail & Seal Rock and 3rd beach. The hot gear at this time has been the 4 oz. to 6 oz. jig heads with the worms of course, darts, and bait. We have a charter boat doing bottom fishing trips as well, that will cost $125.00 a person he supplies tackle, bait and rods. Skipper knows how to catch and where all the hot spots are. Give us a call 1-866-787-1900.
May 13 will be our first U.S. halibut opener you can catch halibut Tues.,Thurs, and Sat. 2008.
The June U.S. halibut season will be June 17th and the 19th. This will also be the time we will have our 5th annual derby.
There will be a new combined Chinook season in area 4 from June 1st. through the 28th. Then July 1st through Sept. 13th fishing days will be Tuesday thru Saturdays.
