LINGCOD OPENED YESTERDAY. WE HAD ABOUT 30 BOATS COME FOR THE OPENER AND EVERYONE HAD A BLAST, THE WEATHER WAS DRIZZLY BUT THE WATER WAS GREAT. EVERYONE CAUGHT THEIR LIMIT OF LINGS AND THE BOTTOMFISH WAS GOOD TOO. HOT SPOTS SEEM TO BE OUT BEHIND WAADAH ISLAND AND SAIL AND SEAL ROCK.

Note: There was a misprint on the WDFW website on our salmon-there is no retention of Chum during August and September but Chinook there will be an unrestricted fishery on the outside as long as our guideline holds out, in August and September.
