The lingcod fishing has been GOOD for almost all fishermen, they have been fishing any where from 40-60 feet of water and are doing WELL! Bass fishing is GREAT at all the favorite fishing spots. We are also getting ready for another GREAT HALIBUT SEASON! This is the BEST halibut fishing in Washington state and also the safest coastal fishing in Washington because we have no shallow bars to cross. We still have a few spots left on our charter boats for halibut trips so book NOW for only $175.00 per person.

Big Salmon Fishing Resort started out our Lingcod opener with a bang! Everyone must have had a long winter and they were all "chomping at the bit to go fishing".
Weather was not the greatest but there was a lot of fish and a lot of happy anglers! Lingcod were any where from "Sail rock" to "Waadah Island" in the depth of 60' to 80' of water.
Sea Bass were any where from kelp beds out to 100' of water, and they were also very plentiful.
This up coming week should be great fishing due to the great weather forecast ..."SO GET YOUR BOATS AND FISHING ROD AND HEAD FOR NEAH BAY, WA!" Or rent one of our kicker boats we have two available to rent with brand new 20 horse honda motors.
Also we need some more people that are interested in booking a Canadian halibut trip May 1st. - May 31st.
Lingcod opened 4/16/05
Canadian halibut is open all year around.
US halibut will open 5/10/05
Second opener for US halibut June 16-18,2005

Another season has begun, We will be opening our doors for business again on April 15, 2005. We are just doing some last minute things. We have had fisherman out on the water the last couple of weekends fishing for Bass. The reports have been really good. Ling Cod will open on April 16, 2005 and by the looks of things there are Ling close to Waadah Island and out Sail Rock. So come out and catch your Lings while they are plentyful and close to shore. Also, lets not forget US Halibut that opens on May 10th. And the quota is the same as last year. See ya all soon Joey Lawrence
