Good Morning to you all from Big Salmon Fishing Resort! Here is the early fishing report, some nice kings are being caught off of Waddah Island this morning. Joey helped some fishermen out by telling them where to drop the gear, "hot spot", along with the type of gear being hit by the king salmon....Jim was one of the guys Joey helped, Jim called Big Salmon's VHF only 15-20 minutes later telling us he caught a nice 20 pound king.
The silvers are biting early in about 350-600 feet of water. The Charter boats had a very good day yesterday catching the kings and silvers. The Windsong had a 38 pound king, 20 pounds being the average weight, with some really nice silvers landed yesterday. The Windsong fished off of Umatilla.
Thanks and Fish on!
Have a great day,

Fishing has been pretty fair around here last week. There was alot of silvers and a few nice kings that were brought in around tatoosh island. The nice kings seemed to be around Skagway and the silvers were in the deeper water about 300 to 400 feet of water. There was a good report from the local trollers on the kings by umitilla. He was out there for 2 days and had a good catch. He thinks that it is going to pick back up. That is the report from us here at Big Salmon. Keep on fishing and good luck.

Hello Big Salmon Anglers,
Today we had a report from Darren Paul he is from the Shelton area " Silvers are being caught 400 feet depth of water just right off of Waadah Island, Also he said that the kings are only 100 feet depth of water off of Waadah Island!"
Today as I was down on the fuel dock we all noticed that the feed has returned to our bay...that is a very good sign.
This week end we have a lot of anglers here in Neah bay and most of them seem to be walking around with smiles on their faces.
Fishermen have reported that the fish are around Umatilla, Blue Dot, and at Mushroom Rock.
Canadian halibut and bottom fishing has been great!
thanks and keep on fishing!
