Done with the sportsman shows finally. Those O'loughins put on a good show did real good and got a lot of bookings out of them. Highly recommend attending there shows. The Evergreen show in Monroe Wa. starts on Feb 23rd and there central Or. show in Redmond starts March 3rd.Back on the water finally. Although we had a good walleye bite a couple of weeks ago the water temp has droped back off a couple of degrees and slowed the bite. Look for it to realy pick back up by the first of march hopefully sooner. The forcast is calling for warm days so if we could get the nights a little warmer and a day or two of wind it would stur things up and put them on the bite. On the water yesterday Feb.20th saw some fish caught one fish caught 12#s I only got a couple one 8#s so its not dead just slow. Hope to see you on the water this spring.
Sturgeon: Haven't been hearing a hole lot on the Sturgeon except that they had a pritty good bite down at the Johnday dam last weekend.Mcnary I know a couple guys that have been going out and getting shakers. Heared one boat hallering when they landed a fish so they might have got a keeper off Irrigon. But it is going to be hit or miss this time of year we all know that. When the water starts to warm it will get better.
