Fish are starting to move up the columbia. Look for Salmon and Steelhead to be all through the system. Fishing off the mouth of the deschutes is good and getting better. This is the place to be if you are from the east side or just love the deschutes summer steelhead.Good numbers of salmon and steelhead are also showing at the johnday and mcnary dams. Fish either below the johnday or at the mouth of the Johnday just above the dam. Mcnary is starting to show fish, fish the mouth of the umatilla river or above the dam. Walleye and bass fishing is still good in the mcnary to boardman areas fish in 16 to 24 feet and you should find some good eater size fish. Keep your tip up. Bob Roberts
