Salmon fishing is starting to get good in the columbia basin finally. The water temp is finally dropping and the fish are bitting. Look for fish at the mouth of the deschutes and the mouth of the umatilla river also above mcnary dam. Steelhead fishing is fair, the A run fish are moving through and I have not personally seen but a very few B runs yet, but they are on the way.November should be very good at the mouth of both the Deschutes and Johnday rivers along with the Umatilla area. Walleye fishing should stay good through october along with bass ,but as the water temp drops so will the sucsess of a day fishing for warm water fish. Walleye fishing will go on all year long for thoughs of us who what to put in the time for some big fish in uncrouded waters. Good Luck BR
