Hooked On Fishing
Fishing Reports & Current News

Sturgeon fishing has been pretty steady but lately I have seen signs of this fishery letting up. So I planned a trip for Summer Chinook today with some customers but we had a slow day. We had some very good hard hits this morning but nothing stuck to our spinners. I did notice that the oversize-sturgeon fishing had picked up today but the bite started about 11:00 a.m., hopefully it continues.
Retention for keeper sturgeon opens July 1st, and I will be out there on the opener. There are many keeper fish in the area so fishing should be excellent.
Also we are currently booking for the upcoming "Buoy 10" fishery, in which we will start August 10th. We have a week and a half booked and at $125.00 per person, seats will fill fast, so book now. Our advertising will be in "Hunting and Fishing News" the second issue in July, so you need to get a jump on it before the issue comes out. Fishing is forecasted to be a good run this year.
Give us a call and let's go fishing...................Dave

Shad are passing over Bonneville in big numbers and that means many huge sturgeon are staging up below, from Bonneville Dam to Cape Horn. We are catching and releasing sturgeon from 7 to 10 feet, using whole shad for bait! The bite has been very good early morning and into the afternoon.
If you have never experienced the fight of powerfull oversized sturgeon or maybe you just don't feel like gearing up and getting things together, give me a call at home 360-993-5843 or try my cell 503-997-2279 and we'll get you "HOOKED UP".
Hope to hear from you..................DavePosted by dave @ 08:17 AM PST
