July 27: Took Ron and Kay Pierce (541-763-3277) of Fossil and Mah-Hah Linda Fleming today. It was 50 this morning in Fossil and the river was running 127 CFS. Ron and Linda kept the lead change going on all day long, but at the end of the day Ron had 123 and Linda had 126.

July 26: George Hadley and I took two Father/Son Teams from Bend today. I took Rick and Dalton Jones (541-948-3525), and George had Gary and Elliott Sawyer (541-389-9566). It was 44 in Fossil, 72 at the river and the water was 68 degrees, 131 CFS, with very clear water and sky. Gary ended up with 145 smallies, Rick 136, Elliot and even 100 and Dalton 80. What a way to spend a day: two Father/Son teams and lots of fish.

July 25: George Hadley and I took the Mike & Luisa Waud Family of Tillamook: Melissa, Cade, and David. Mike and Luisa are great parents and they have some GREAT kids. It was 44 in Fossil, 70 at the river with the water 69 degrees, on a beautiful day. They ended up with 437 smallies with Papa Mike joining the 100+ Club with 123. Melissa boated a great big carp after a five minute fight. Guess what? They already rebooked for next year.

July 24: George Hadley and I took two families today. Robert Juth and daughters Rachel (503-681-9163) and Emma, Mark and Kyle Beddingfield. It was 50 in Fossil, 72 at the river with the water running 70 degrees, 156 CFS, with clear water and sky. They caught lots of fish with Rachel joining the 100+ Club with 104 smallies. Remember kids 13 and under are half price.
