August 4: Took brother Mark and Kevin Connolly of Portland, Mark bought a trip for brother Kevin as today was his birthday. We used the FDS system a lot of the day, and it always seemed to produce. They fly fished most of the day and ended up with 108 fish between them. It was 44 in Fossil, 58 at the river, water was 63, 187 CFS, 4-5 clarity, on a very clear day. We took fish on most everything, but the My Fly caught the major portion of the fish. Kevin did prevail as the winner with 56 fish. The FDS system as explained to me by Mark and Kevin is simply casting out and then doing something else, thus the Fat-Dumb-Stupid System. Actual works great!!
