Nuts ! The Deschutes Trout were on the attack....then the water went up and the sun came out and fishing slowed. Using a 2 fly set up was very productive for 2 days. Cloudy skies and this warm trend will start the March Browns. Yeah. In the mean time we have been amusing guests with fly rods on the lower Sandy and Catching some nice broodstock and Native W Steelhead.Nymphing egg sucking leeches with a egg dropper has been good in the clear water in the lower river with allmost no one around....cool..... fishing goes on hold tomorrow as the E Wind is scheduled to blow at 25-45 mph. Paper work and flytying tomorrow......Springer trips will start the first week in April.......Deschutes or Willamette tough choices for YOU to make ......I will go either direction at the break of dawn...
