BUSY ? Can you tell by my neglect here ? We head to Astoria for Salmon next week. Good numbers of Chinook and Coho in the area. Locally the Deschutes has it's moments from the mouth to Mack's Canyon. Extreme heat will put the fish off the bite. Crack of dawn has been best with limits for the early birds. Bite at Herm Cr. has slowed from last week. Size 10 ginger is the hot ticket.As water gets warmer the fly anglers outfish the gear guy's about 4-1. Speecial " inet pricing " for those who visit the site. See " Internet Special " area for info. Anglers at Cazadero are hitting a few. Come on down to Astoria for the best Fishing of the year.
