Deschutes Trout fishing has been excelllent when near normal weather prevails. The river has dropped into very good condition and the fish are healthy and numerous.Steelhead fishing has been spotty with the record high temps slowing the bite. With normal weather we should be right back to catching good numbers of " keeper " Steelhead. The Counbia Sturgeon bite has slowed to a crawl above tidewater and is not much better in the estuary. Colunbia & Deschutes Steelhead are next up on the agenda.
