Oregon & Washington have come to terms and the Columbia River Spring Chinook Salmon Season has been set and I am taking reservations. The forecast is for an excellent return of the hard fighting, firm and tasty Kings.Right NOW the still waters are fishing like crazzy......March Browns are hatching in the rivers and the bite has been ON. We have trips to lakes that hold Trout over 5 lbs. Steelhead fishing in the Local rivers is nearing the peak for winter Steelhead and a few Summer fish are being caught as well. The next really " good bet " will be the " KEEPER STURGEON " on the Columbia. Book a trip in April for some busy action. You won't be sitting in your chair for long. You will be " yankin&acrankin ". The OVERSIZE STURGEON fishing gets into high gear in May and continues into July. Book NOW and avoid the price hikes as fuel goes up.
