Opps Sorry for the lack of info but.........it's been crazzy. Smallies on the Columbia are hitting anything fishing is great.Salmon Flies are out in " numbers " and I expect they will be full in a day or 2 and ignore MOST anglers offerings. Good thing I know what to do when this happens on the Deschutes. Trout fishing is good on the Deschutes. Sandy is producing a few Springs but not in what I will call " Guideable numbers ". If your fising on the Sandy with a guide he better be wearing a mask or your foolish. But then there are those days. Next week will be the peak week on the Clack for Spring Kings. Sorry I am Booked up. The following week may well be very good so try to get a date. Last 3 years this fishery held up and got better all the way to the 4th of July. Like I said Call me for a Trip soon.

Sandy Springers are at the hatchery hole in good numbers. Mid Willamette angling is only so so as I believe the fish are moving very quickly and not very interested in striking. It will be beter soon in the upper tribs when they gang up and get a little teritorial. Deschutes Trout Angling is fair as the water remains in that marginal state and the Salmon flies gather for their charge to shore in the next 2 weeks.

Fresh Salmon are moving over the Willamette Falls in good numbers. That is where I will be guiding the next few days. Depending on the rainfall in the Cascades tonight the Sandy might get a good shot of fish. i 'will be up before daylight and off to the River ( wow 4 minutes away ) to see what the day brings. The Columbia remains closed.
