Sturgeon Fishing has been very good.We have been catching keepers ( 42"-60" ) with great regularity.
The world class BIG GAME fishing the Columbia River offers for oversize Sturgeon has been good as well.
Currently we are experiencing high flows from Spring Runoff. The rookie guides are not doing well because they keep fishing their usual medium-low water spots. The giant oversize Sturgeon have low water and high water travel paths. They are not the same. I expect the Clack & Sandy to peak in the next 2 weeks. Spring Chinook are returning to these rivers later each year. Chinook Fishing will be good right in to July.
